The Cultural Monuments Browser Has Been Set Up
A new e-service – the cultural monuments browser has been set up on the Riga City Council City Development Department home page www.rdpad.lv. It allows clarifying whether the object of interest located at the administrative territory of Riga is included into the Register of Cultural Monuments protected by the State. Cultural monuments can be searched in accordance with their addresses and cadastral numbers.
Acting Director of the Riga City Council City Development Department Gvido Princis:
“At present, we have developed nine e-services, which allow any interested person to find the information of interest quickly and simply, as well as receiving a specialist’s consultation or co-ordinating documents from anywhere, as it is, for instance, in case of the advertising and signboards coordination e-service. The aim of developing our e-services is to provide precise, easily accessibly and true information to any interested person.”
The cultural monuments browser is anticipated as an informative device. It contains the information published in the Latvijas Vēstnesis [the Official Gazette of the Government of Latvia] on the objects located in the administrative territory of Riga and included into the Register of Cultural Monuments protected by the state. Further information can be obtained at the State Cultural Monuments Protection Inspectorate.
The City Development Department is also developing a detailed planning browser, where the process of its elaboration and the results of public discussions will be reflected.
The following e-services are available on the City Development Department home page www.rdpad.lv: co-ordination of advertising and signboards, preparation of references on perspective development of land plots in conformity with the Riga Development Plan for 2006 – 2018, as well as the public discussions searcher, the construction preliminary plans searcher, the construction projects searcher, the construction permits searcher, the cultural monuments searcher, the construction due calculator and the advertising due calculator.
