Search Engine for Public Discussions of the Construction Projects has been Developed

A new service is available on the webpage of the Riga City Council City Development Department www.rdpad.lv/apspriesanas – search engine for public discussions of the construction projects. At present any interested party can find information of interest on the terms and results of public discussions of the construction projects, as well as on resolutions of the Riga City Council City Development Department and the Riga City Council for 2008.

Information on public discussions of the construction projects for 2007 is planned to be placed by the Midsummer Day. And by autumn a detailed planning search engine will be developed as well, where the process of detailed planning elaboration and results of public discussions will be reflected.

Acting Director of the Riga City Council City Development Department Gvido Princis: “This search engine will promote transparency in adopting decisions and will considerably facilitate access to information by all those, who would like to actively participate in public discussions of the construction projects and to follow their results.”

Interested parties can find information by entering the title or surname of the construction project initiator or designer, the facility name or its address, the land plot group or ground, or the date, when the public consideration was determined at the Construction Board Council meeting. Information can be also found after completion of public discussion.

Only active public discussions can be searched for by marking the corresponding window in the search engine.

Resolutions of the Riga City Council City Development Department and the Riga City Council are available as well beside the full announcement text of the public discussion results.
