Announcement on Starting Elaboration of the Detailed Planning of the Territory between Mūkusalas Iela, Buru Iela and Kileveina Grāvis and the 1st Stage of Public Discussion

Elaboration of the detailed planning is being started on the basis of the Riga City Council Resolution No. 2630 dated 03.07.2007 (Prot. No. 75, Paragraph 29) “On Starting Elaboration of the Detailed Planning of the Territory between Mūkusalas iela, Buru iela and Kileveina grāvis, Approval of the Detailed Planning Borders and the Work Task, as well as Organizing the 1st Stage of Public Discussion”.

The aim of elaborating the detailed planning is to evaluate opportunities of the perspective development of the territory and to create preconditions for its optimal development as the Riga Historical Centre functional relief territory with regards to the arterial roads, using the embankment of the water facilities, respecting the Old Riga panorama perception zone and view points and promoting usage of the waters and the embankment for recreation and the public external area development.

The responsible official person is the Director of the Detailed Planning Division of the Urban Planning Board of the Riga City Council. Office hours are on Mondays and Thursdays from 14.00 to 18.00. Developer of the detailed planning is SIA “Uģis Šēnbergs, Arhitekts”.

The 1st stage of the public discussion (submitting offers) is determined as 4 weeks from 30 October to 27 November. The Informative materials can be viewed at the Riga Zemgale Urban District Executive Directorate at 46 E. Smiļģa iela, on Mondays from 10.00 to 19.00, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8.30 to 16.00, as well as at the 1st Floor of the Clients Service Centre of the City Development Department at 4 Amatu iela, Riga, on Mondays and Thursdays from 10.00 to 19.00, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays  from 9.00 to 16.00 and on Fridays from 9.00 to 14.00.

Information on starting the detailed planning is available on the Internet at https://www.rdpad.lv in the chapter Public Discussions. The Questionnaire Forms can be requested and completed within the aforesaid period at the 1st Floor of the Clients Service Centre of the City Development Department at 4 Amatu iela, Riga, (information by phone 67105800) and at the SIA “Uģis Šēnbergs Arhitekts” office at 104 – 8 Brīvības iela, Riga (phone 67290996).

Only written applications and offers submitted before 27 November shall be considered. Information on further events of the public discussion shall be placed in newspapers Latvijas Vēstnesis, Diena  and 5 min.
